This school is the pits.. I paid registration and January fees for my daughter in December 2022 - SPARK Riversands High. Come January, half the school’s curriculum is incomplete, no maths teacher, no HOD nor headmaster, activities like sports, robotics & coding was not available which was falsely advertised.

After two days of my child being at SPARK, I wrote to the interim principal and advised that my child will be pulling out of the school, I was made to complete the termination process for immediate termination (2 times) because they missed the fact that I completed the form the first time.

February, I got two calls asking me why I’m pulling out, I explained that my daughter will fall behind with her peers if she stays with a school that open unready for the academic year. I was told that they understand and I filled the form for the third time, which I did.

I didn’t ask for a refund for January fees, no one said anything about a 3 months notice which I’m only being told about on 27 March 2023. I’m apparently liable for paying them fees for 3 months notice even if my child is there or not, again my kid was there for (TWO DAYS) in January.

I registered in December, pulled out in January, two days after school opened, when would I have had 3 months to terminate? Also how did my contract get terminated if I had to give notice? Also why did it take 3 terminations for the school to register the termination, why? because they were stalling.

They kept sending me invoices in Feb., I responded with acknowledgment of termination of contract, they didn’t respond, but 27 Mar. they tell me I should’ve given them 3 months notice, how? Now they want me to make payment arrangements with penalty fees.

The school only opened in 18 January 2023, I paid January fees in December, when would I place notice when I only found out the school **** about it’s academic offerings on the 18th?

I wrote time and time again noticing how they don’t even take me off their communication emails, they were stalling this entire time. I really found new respect for REVIEWS, because WOW this school is the actual pits and by far the biggest mistake I’ve ever made.

I will spread the word. What NONSENSE
