Enrolment Termination Nightmare!

My son was enrolled and set to start grade 1 in 2020. I had no issues with this process and was really happy. I had paid the enrolment fee of R550 + January school fee R2500 = R3050. Then in late November my company took the decision to relocate my family and I to Port Elizabeth. There are no Spark schools there, thus I had to terminate my son's enrolment at the school. I emailed them to request a refund of January school fees which I had already paid (the enrolment fee was non refundable). I was then told that I would have to forfeit the school fee for January, and was sent a portion of the school policy stating that 3 months notice needs to be given before removing a child from the school. In my view this is **************** and I'm being forced to part with my hard earned money even though my child had not even attended a single day of school at Spark. I now have to pay two sets of school fees for January which is unacceptable. Given the current economic situation, I can't afford to throw R2.5k away. Subsequent emails for them to review this situation have as yet not been responded to. I'm hoping this platform May assist me get my money back!
