Accounts department

I enrolled a grade R scholar and canceled registration before the school opens. now I keep getting emails that I owe the school, when I enrolled my scholar the enrollment form only speaks of non refundable registration fees now I am being told that because my scholars name was already on the list before the school open I must pay the fees. My registration cancelation was done before the school opens and my scholar never set his foot at school. Just by showing interest that you want a scholar to attend you are trapping yourself to accumulate fees for 3 months.how do you expect me to pay the penalty for 3 months even if my son never set a foot in class. This is pathetic.

Hello Takalani,

Our refund policy on our website and contract states, "The first month's school fees are non-refundable once you have signed the parent contract and the 7-day cooling period is over. You will only be eligible for a refund if there is no space in the grade and school you have app**** for after the conclusion of the application process." Kindly view our refund policy on our website https://cdn.prod.website-files.com/670621d7344fa278944ff7b0/671f08f98d428784e1917c19_refund.pdf Our refund policy is aligned with South African Banking legislation.

If the policy says I will not get refund for the first month why are you charging for february and march because I already lost the first month payment because of registration cancelation as your policy says which is fine. Right now what my statement is saying and what the policy is saying is two different things.I am receiving multiple email from collections and when I call account department I am being that I must pay for 3 months where is it coming from because it is not in your policy.
