Absolutely frustrating experience with the Accounts Department!!!!

While we had a satisfactory experience with Spark Carlswald, the ACCOUNTS DEPARTMENT is the pits. At the beginning of 2025, I was bombarded with emails saying we owed school fees, which we’d paid in full in December 2024. I was later told that the fees were misallocated to 2024, which had also been paid in full at the end if 2023. I then provided both 2024 and 2025 POPs. While this was a frustrating process, it was eventually sorted out in May, and the false interest that had accumulated was reversed.

Fast forward to confirming that my son would be changing schools in the new year (2026) I started receiving emails and smses saying I owe R8000 + , which i was told was towards interest. This was told to me by Nhlahla Baloi, whom I hadn’t spoken before, I then shared my email thread with him (with Maureen Soko, whom I’d spoken to when the matter was resolved). Both Nhlahla and I, asked Maureen to handle/clarify the matter. Maureen hasn’t said anything and Nhlahla continues to harass me, even though the email thread between myself and Maureen is clear with POPs from both 2024 and 2025 fees. I asked Nhlahla to call me, he hasn’t! Maureen would do the same thing. And I had to use my airtime to make the calls.

As it stands, the transfer form reflected that I wasn’t owing, and the transfer card which was sent post me confirming my son wasn’t returning to the school, reflect that I’m owing - which is incorrect and reflects me as a bad payer to the new school.

Absolutely frustrating!
