Sold Rotten food and refused a refund

I ordered Gouda cheese from SuperSpar in Benoni through Uber ears and I received rotten cheese. I called the store immediately and was told I can come exchange it. However when I went to return it I was told that they cannot refund me because I ordered through Uber Eats and don't have a physical receipt from the store. I am appalled at the treatment I received as I have never experienced this from any SuperSpar. I have always held SuperSpar at a prestige standard and to experience being sold rotten cheese and then told that I cannot get a refund but they can exchange it. I did not trust the cheese anymore as the one I received as an exchange I was told that both cheeses expire on the same date. I always shop at SuperSpar in Glen Marias and I have never seen spoilt foods on their shelves. I am very disappointed
