VW Soweto operating in bad faith

My complaint is about VW Soweto Maponya not operating in good faith and falsely advertising their products. The first problem is, I app**** for a car, which they sold and didn't communicate that it had been sold. without communicating, they app**** for a more expensive car in my name. Upon finding out, out of frustration i stopped everything.

I went back a month later to buy a different car off their floor. they advertised the car R409k. to Which I agreed to buy the car. On the bank application, VW quietly financed the car for R421k, Upon my rejection of the bank offer as that’s not what was agreed on, they did the financing at R412k to which I agreed because they were not willing to come down to what was originally advertised. My favorite is how i got charged R5k for the "car delivery fee" yet i was asked to collect the car at their dealership. i guess putting on that red ribbon on the car is what we paying for. in pre-purchase inspection at the dealership, I asked if the car was in an accident to which I was told “No” the car was accident-free however I am seeing more and more overspray paintwork on the car and I asked again via email. I was not given an answer. There's parts dangling in the front of the car. Wires are laying loose everyone. wipers dont have covers. I was also told that they will make plans for me to receive the spare key, spare wheel and vehicle papers, 4/5 days after purchase, which I still haven’t received 4 weeks later.

After buying the car, I experienced a couple of problems with the car, Lights not turning off after a drive, Engine cuts, Sunroof malfunction. I called my sales rep and advised her as such, she said she escalated to the manager, and 2 weeks later - I still haven’t heard back from either of them. A week before I need to travel, and my “fresh car” is having engine issues and can’t accelerate properly. So not only am I being ignored, but The problem also continues to get worse.

I'm usually cool, calm, and collected so i wont disrespect anyone, by saying how useless they or the dealership are however i view this as a VW issue as their people are an extension/reflection of their business and the service they offer to consumers has been **********. Leaves a bitter taste in my mouth.

I'm truly disappointed in how this was handled as a whole. Stay away from this Branch if you can.
