Verification Letter

To whom it may concern

I already app**** for a verification letter for my daughter on the 13th of July 2022, following the right channels.

After many emails to *** in which I made inquiries, I never received any reply from SAQA.

One day I decided to send an email to *** and to ***. Within 5 minutes my email was answered with a Quote attached of R2 215.00.

I refused to pay this specific amount because I followed the right channels. Two minutes later they sent me a new quote of R610 which I paid immediately.

*** and *** requested the proof of payment that I sent along with the Quote on 2 September.

On the quote it is clearly stated in bold that it will take only 5 working days to get the letter ready.

On the 7th of September, I again received an email from both mentioned emails stating that they need the proof of payment before they can issue the letter for us. I forwarded it again but to date I have never heard from SAQA.

If you call the number they mentioned on their website, ***), the phone gets on ringing and ringing with a message that due to Covid 19, there is a delay in issuing any requests. If somebody eventually answers, the person on the other side is not competent or cannot help you.

I don’t know what to do any longer to get hold of this verification letter. Will they eventually issue it and when?

Could somebody please help me? We needed it.
