Vehicle/Money inspections

Last night I got pulled over by the exact same officer that pulled me over a few months ago if I remember correctly. He drove past me at the robot and only when the light turned green he decided to turn around and pull me over not even allowing me to drive to a public spot. I'm 21 years old and the first thing he does is search my jeans side pockets and told me yeah it's to make sure I'm not gonna shoot him while he turns his back on me. Now first of all, if I did have a firearm it would not be tucked in my side pocket where the world can see it so why search there. Second of all he didn't even follow the correct procedure for inspection. As he started the inspection he only had a look at 3 things in my car. First was my side doors which I do understand, second was my glove compartment also understandable, but then he started going through my lunch box for some reason. Now that wasn't even a quarter of my car. He stood up and said now he needs to look in my wallet for any hidden substances. The only place he looked at was where the money was supposed to be. Is this really what the SAPS stands for these days?
