******** arrest - Table View CAS 88/5/2016

<p>I was parked at the Potsdam Myciti bus stop at approximatel 22H00 on the 06/05/2016, waiting for my daughter. Officer Mbali approached me and asked me what I was doing there. I rep**** that I was waiting for my daughter. The officer did not seem to believe me, because he repeated the question. I repeated my answer, but, he did not like my tone of voice, so he demanded that I get out of the vehicle. No sooner was I out of the vehicle, he demanded my driver's license. The license was in my car. My daugher had just arrived, so she handed it to him. He then informed my daughter that he was taking me to the hospital and demanded that I get into the back of his van. He drove around with me in the back of his van for 2 hours and took me to the Table View police station. Mbali's partner charged me with DUI. When I refused the charges, she drew my blood and detained me until 14H00 the next day, despite the fact that my daughter posted bail at 08H00. They also took my cell phone and glasses from me, so I could not make a phone call and the police were very abusive. The arrest was ********, the Police violated my rights, were abusive and they did not follow process. </p>
