Title: Mishandling of My Case & Poor Treatment by SAPS

I reported a burglary and theft case at Midrand Police Station on Friday, March 14, but my experience with SAPS has been frustrating and deeply disappointing.

Among the ****** items was my dog, Leo, who has been missing since Friday—yet there have been no updates, no urgency, and no real effort from SAPS to assist in finding him. The police said that my ****** dog will be treated the same as a ****** TV, as if his life doesn’t matter.

Despite my case being linked to another complainant’s, I have been completely sidelined. I was denied the ability to open my own case, and Sgt. M.J. Ntombela from Booysens has been unresponsive, dismissive, and unprofessional. When I followed up, he told me he has other cases to deal with and acted like mine was not important.

There is footage available that could help identify the suspects, but I have not been given access to it, and SAPS has done nothing to act on it. Where is the justice for Leo? Where is the justice for me as a victim?

SAPS is failing to protect and serve. I demand immediate intervention and accountability for this neglect and mishandling of my case.
