The Police in JHB - Useless, Powerless, Worthless - GET SOME HELP, WE NEED YOU!!!

So today I was held up by gunpoint on Albertina Sisulu Road coming out of JHB, luckily the ******* only took my wallet but what I find chilling is the fact that Jeppe Police Station is on that road, maybe 500m from where I got held up. I call the station afterwards and ask why no police presence is on that road and what do I get told? "No sir, its JHB Central police station you have to talk to". Ridiculous!!! That road is filled daily with people stopping all over the place (hazards on, middle lane and they stop, or both side lanes with PARKED cars) and we have to bob and weave between them. My colleague had the same thing happen to him 3 weeks ago, same road. So its obvious these ******* wait for people to get held up in traffic then pull a gun on them.

I'm tired of the general incompetence, laziness and lack of compassion from the Police service in JHB. It's obvious you're lacking the manpower for a city that big, its obvious you have no control, you are worthless if you cannot Protect and Serve the City of Johannesburg. Have some damn respect for your job, get up off your ass and get some more officers in. Patrol your streets - foot patrols and car patrols. Get some damn support from the City otherwise Johannesburg will continue to decay into a den of lawlessness. I work In a bank in JHB and the bank itself now employs its own security in a 6 block radius around it because of all their employees being ****** coming out of work (its a fact, call the banks). Just proves the police are failing.

Every day I drive past homeless people on the side of the road in JHB injecting themselves with needles, or passed out with half their body in the road. I see the trash, the **********s, the beggars, the *******. I've seen the fires (caused by owners setting fire to their own buildings to get rid of squatters), I've seen women and children ****** during daylight, cars broken into, drugs being sold on the corners. It doesn't take a genius to figure out the SAPS just don't have what they need to do their job.

I have nothing but respect for Police Officers in general, they are the most vital part of a functioning society, but to see the state of moral and civil decay in the City of Gold, my City, it makes me sick. I'm physically nauseous. Now I have to go back to work in JHB next week and I honestly don't want to.

So please, please, get some support from the government, the EFF, the ANC, the DA, Donald freakin Trump - I don't care - and sort out your district.
