Thank You Officer Brandt Cape Town Area

On Thursday evening 21st September when driving home on the M3 from town in the evening rush hour/2 hours , my car overheated and I was unable to start it again. I called my car guy but due to the heavy traffic he was unable to assist me for the next hour to hour and a half. I was therefore stuck on the side of the road for a long while. I was in a safe place and not obstructing traffic, I had been sat there awhile when I heard a knock on my window. It was a female police officer. Her name badge said Brandt, if you are in fact a captain or higher I apologise. She had merely stopped to check up on me and assure me that I was safe where I was and to apologise for the other police car that had just driven on. This after a traffic police car had also passed me without stopping. In this day and age when there are so many bad news stories about the police I thought I would share this one. A Big thank you to her for stopping to check that I was okay, reassuring me that I was safe, offering to call someone for me and also for apologising for her colleagues just driving on. You have been recognised, well done !
