Shocking! What happened to protect and SERVE?

On Saturday, 13 July 2019 @ round about 14:00, I was trying to get an accident report number for insurance purposes, when the police officer asked me to come the next day, as it takes 2 hours to fill out the report. Already inconvenient, as wedonvt love in town. This was at the Nelspruit Police station.

When I came back the next day, I filled the report in MYSELF and it took 10 to 15 minutes! It took another 5 minutes to get the stamp and officer's (another one) signature. Still wondering why our police officers find it necessary to lie. Is it because they are lazy?

This still doesn't beat my experience at Polokwane police station where it was 17:50 at night, with my husband and 2 kids with me, trying to report a crime committed against me, with a response that it is almost knock off time and it take a long time to fill out the report. I would have to wait for the next shift. They will probably be able to help me by 18:30. This, after already standing in lineffor 30 minutes with two busy toddlers. Needless to say, I didn't report the crime.

And I don't expect feedback....
