searching through peoples bags

So I'm in a bus Greyhound at park station in johannesburg, then police officers come into the bus to search for what ever it is they are looking for, then this one in particular comes to me and asks for my ticket, I do as I'm told, next thing he starts searching through my bag without my permission, I tell him let me open my own bag or at least asks, he goes through my note book, searches my wallet, goes through my ID book, my toiletry bag, my make up bag, searches through my entire bag, empties it, without saying a word, after that he asks for my ticket goes to the hostess, then returns with my ticket, then he hands it to me. I don't think what just happened to me is allowed being treated like a ********, I'm not even notified of what it is that they are looking for. Really don't know what is going on with the South African Police service, at least train your staff to have the decency to address a person correctly. I'm highly disappointed and I felt harrassed
