SAPS works for benefits and not the SAFETY of the people

There was a young male that was ****** at gunpoint and assaulted at a Capitec ATM last night 06.09.21. The police on duty that he had spoken to wanted him to walk back to the ATM and told him that they will drive and get him there (this being 18:00 and 20:00). He had told them that he isn't going to put his life at risk to do so and they then agreed to drive there with him. He stays in Stellenbosch and had requested for them to please take him home. They then rep**** and stated that they cant do so as they have "********* to deal with" (but yet they had sat there, doing nothing and having phat conversations). The young man had to call someone to come and get him at the station and take him home. His cousin had to leave the safety of his home after 20:00 on the 06.09.21 and take his cousin home. Now what has bothered me the most is that the cops had stated that they have ********* to deal with and yet them perps (a male and female, carrying what could be a gun with live ammunition not be seen as *********, unless they already know who they are and is being paid off not to do anything or the fact that the police finds it ok that other civilians to put their lives at risk at night in a time of COVID to be out on the road to do their (the cops') jobs. The young man still had his bloodied mask on (with him being hit in the face by the perp and had the gun clocked and pointed at his head) and doubt that the cops even got some medical assistance to check him out. And you know all the cops did was open a docket and got the footage at the ATM and said they cant do anything cause the 2 perps had masks on.
