SAPS Worcester Don't Care Attitude - Civilian Safety

On the 19th Dec we had an unfortunate car breakdown in Worcester, approximately just after 7pm. It was quite an unpleasant experience, not to mention the danger as it was already getting late. We opted to phone SAPS at the time, being in a strange town and all. We in no way wanted to make our predicament SAPS's, however we reached out to them because of the safety aspect. They came all the way to the breakdown location just to tell is they could not assist, 4 of them for that matter. Our safety was evidently not that important to them obviously - SAPS, check out their mission and vision however. The question is, why come out all the way to tell us that when we had already given you the full story on the phone just to come out and tell us you cannot assist in any way? I am sure they could have said the very same thing on the very same call, 🙄🙄. We however see them using state resources to give lifts, transport furniture and even park the state's vehicles at shebeens and *****'s lanes. This is the most normal of things apparently - (sarcasm), instead of making a little effort for civilian's safety. Total disgust
