SAPS No Show

We had a break-in Monday evening and phoned Garsfontein police station Tuesday morning at 6:39 - they said they will dispatch a car. We waited and tried phoning again at 7:58 with no answer and decided to leave for work. We again phoned them the afternoon at 17:28 to which they responded to say a car will be dispatched - again we waited - at 20:33 we phoned again to be answered by an extremely rude woman who said we should phone 10111 and continued to put the phone down in my husband's ear. We then tried 10111 (at 20:35) and was answered by a very nice lady who said a car will be there within an hour, after waiting (again) we tried for a last time and at 21:47 was put through to a supervisor who explained that a Captain was dispatched and would be there within half an hour, we got tiered of waiting and went to bed by 22:30 and until now Wednesday 10:00 we had no visit from any police. It seems if we want to open a case we will have to go to them?
