SAPS Benoni and Edenvale

Incident 1:

My brother and I where driving from my sister's place and we stopped at a stop street near the Benoni Estate we followed the right procedures for road safety, no police vehicle presented themselves (with their headlights on or their blue brigade lights) we assumed there was no one there so we turned and it looked like they were camped at a distance . We get stopped, 4 officers step out two female and two men, one was aggravating my brother as I can not drive at night but it was my car they ask us questions and one of the officers told me to put my phone away and tapping on the window wanting to know what I was texting on my phone. They were not traffic cops, and yet they wanted to lock my brother and I up or asking for a bribe. This was the Benoni SAPS very scary experience as I was scared due to a rise of police brutality against younger people in Edenvale. Fortunately, we were given a pass and they to let us go without any conflict, but SAPS really need to follow road rules and know how to speak to citizens and they blatantly bribery is disgusting.

Incident 2 :

While coming onto the on-ramp for Barbra road /Edenvale, I slowed down at the yellow robot and one of the Edenvale cop cars sped up and not keeping a safe distance I was signalling to them with my brakes to slow down they nearly hit my car from behind and swerve out the way and hooted at me and went through the red robot. ( Now no blue lights were flashing to make me give way to them so I assume it was a normal petrol ) I manage to turn off at one of the stop streets near the Mc Donalds and I see the cop waiting there and the officers start hooting at me and going off at me, I go my regular route to my place and I see the cop following me, (either paranoid or just going back to the station) but he was always up my rear end until I was entering my closed off area.

The Police scare me and don't follow the rules I see them on their phones texting and they supposed to be the law but they don't follow it or scare normal people.
