Poor Service Delivery

Hi. My neighbour's huge fruit tree fell on my mom's roof in the very early hours (3:40am) of the morning on 22 July 2023. This was a horrific experience cos mom is very elderly. we phoned SAPS and they said that it's a civil matter and that they can't send out anyone. upon contacting a local security company in Pietermaritzburg the officer who came out got their control room operator to phone saps. SAPS provided them with a reference number and about a hour later the van reached out. however the officers who were dispatched came and hooted on the roadside. we opened the door and went to stand there waiting for them to come up to us. these guys expected females to go out from above road level onto the roadside, risking our safety. where is the protection we need. they never came up yo us, they drove down the road, made a U turn and went away. Can someone please tell me since when Civil matters are not dealt with by SAPS.

Aldo, if someone can assist in giving me the EMAIL address of the STATION COMMANDER of Mountain Rise Police Station in Pietermaritzburg.

Their service is disgusting and this needs to be brought to the forefront. apart from this incident there are also others to report. I asked several of staff employed there from senior to junior but these employees don't adhere to tgd Batho Pele standards. They are not allowing me to access the email address of the Station Commander.
