Poor service

I had a house break in at 16:00 today, the security service loged the call to the police on 10111 by 17:20. No services from the polices side. I waited for the and made several follow up. At 00:00 the provided me with another IR number. They said I must wait. What service is this, how must we as SA citizens feel save with such a response time and bad attitude from the Police that needs to keep us save and secure
