Police not helping us as hard working citizens

Our car got broken into in the early hours of the morning. We phoned steenberg police and was told a can would come out. 4hours later no police. The 3 guys are known and had guns. It would now cost us almost R2000 for damages while the perpetrators are still passing our house. Really disappointed in our justice system.
