police not doing thier job

So this morning around 05:30 I received a call from my mother who is at Osizweni township as she was explaining to me about the incident happened during the course of the night, as they heard footsteps on the roof and she thought it might be one of the kids at home but then the kids came to her that's when they realized its might be anyone with the intentions to ***** cables ( izinyoka-nyoka) on top of the roof, then my mother called the police when they arrived they didn't even ask any questions as they took the cables and left the scene. One of the guys whom was part of the *****ing came in to confront my mother \ why she called the police "as he said to my mother his not going to stab her but then he stabbed the one of our neighbours. My concern is this incident happened right in front of my kids who I left with my mother at home"
