Police not doing their job

Lingelethu West in Capetown khayelitsha is the worst police station I've ever seen yhooo. Can you believe I opened a case in May the 23rd if I'm not mistaken or 22nd but it was May. That useless police station never even sent me any message with my case number and the detective who was assigned to the case. I was only called in the same week by a cellphone number and the person said he's the detective of my case, he called me to go show him the suspects house who is staying in another area when we got there we were told he's not around. After that I've heard nothing about my case. This is annoying me as my life is in danger. The suspect is my ex boyfriend whom I opened a restraining order against in April so he broke the restraining order by sending me a text message via Facebook in May threatening me and I took the screenshot of the message and the restraining order to Lingelethu West police station and a case was opened. The suspect is roaming the streets, I live in fear because I don't know if I'm being followed. I left this guy due to GBV and changed the place. Will the police only act once I'm dead????? Lingelethu West police station is not working maybe they will only act when people will be saying "justice for Lerato" Harare and Site B are the best police stations.. If there's a possibility of transferring my case to one of these police station I mentioned I would love it because they do their job. I have to call and do a follow-up no-1 is communicating with me as if I am the one getting paid no. Can my case be transferred to Harare police station or the person who was assigned to the case do their job please.
