POLICE CLEARANCE CERTIFICATE

Rather apply for Police Clearance Certificates way in advance - definitely not keeping to the 15days turnaround as advertised on website, and not even getting a month turnaround currently, and no one answering the phones - been waiting for someone to answer +15min...to be advised there is a backlog and haven't even started on a application that was submitted on the 19th October and maybe...might have it in 2 weeks plus!!! ***!!!! My stepdad was supposed to start his contract on the 13th November...

Had a backlog same time last year - to think the amount of staff employed by the government and police and and still have issues it is crazy - affecting people who have work abroad and in todays climate with unemployment in South Africa - it is crazy!!!! It took us over 3 months to get a police clearance certificate last year.
