Justice system in S.A

<p>I was recently involved in a car accident with a policeman, (Name: Mkhululi Nkosi. Vehicle registration no. VLZ 381 GP, ID ********** 875084). He pumped into my car while he was beating a red robot in the early hours of the morning (4am). He tried to run away but I manage to stop him. I tried to resolve the matter with him in a proper manner but instead he called for backup to come bail him out and told them(backup) that I wanna beat him up, not to mention that Mkhululi was also intoxicated.</p> <p>The accident happend next to a gas station, I wanted to go inside to get airtime and call the police, so I pulled out his car keys out of the ignition, preventing him from escaping like he tried to from the beggining. He then pushed me away and pulled out a gun under the driver's sit and told me to give back the keys or else he'd shoot me. I told him he can shoot me but his not going anywhere.</p> <p>I managed to get airtime and called the police but his backup arrived first at the scene. The elderly man who arrived at the scene was his "cousin" and I tried reasoning with him as an elder and respected him but only to find out at a later stage that it was his colleague who was also off duty. He then (The colleague) suggested that we exchange details and go home (as it was early in the morning) and meet the following day and discuss how Mkhululi was gonna fix my car.</p> <p>The following day I called Mkhululi and he said we should meet at Moroka Police Station (Soweto). I arrived first at the police station and waited at the parkinglot. When he arrived he started provoking me (at the parkinglot) like he did at the scene of the accident and trying to twist things around, saying it was my fault and he's not gonna pay for the damages on my car.</p> <p>I then lost it and I strangled him then he said "This is what I wanted from the beginning, I'm openinning a case against you." He went inside the police station and I followed him to also open a case against him. Inside the police station, he went straight to the station Captain and spoke to him behind closed doors. The captain then came out and spoke to other policemen but couldn't hear what they were saying. When it was my turn to open the case, the policeman who was suppose to be taking down my statement told me that it's gonna take time to write a accident report/statement and I should for the people who are gonna start a 6pm shift to take down my statement and at that time it was 5:15pm (what a lazy ass policeman).</p> <p>I sat and waited until 6:15pm when a policewoman came to me and asked where my witness was, (since when do you need a witness to open a case). I told her that I did not bring a witness and she said I can only open a case when I have a witness. So I went to fetch my cousin who was with me when the accident happened.</p> <p>When we arrived back at the police station, Mkhululi was still behind closed doors with the Captain but now the door was slightly opened and I could see them taking down HIS statement. When it was now my turn to open a case WITH my witness next to me, the captain called me, away from other people who were there and asked me what was going on. I told him he would know what's going on if he would let me open a case and write down what I want to tell them. He said they're not gonna write anything I say because Mkhululi has told them everything and what i have to say doesn't matter, I'm just gonna waste their paper and ink.</p> <p>Till today my car is still not fixed because I can't lay charges against Mkhululi because "he is a policeman".</p> <p> </p> <p>Please help me take this matter forward Peter.
