Jeppe police station cops ******** people

<p>Good day,</p> <p>I thought I should bring this to your attention.</p> <p>My car was ****** on Friday night last week the 7th April 2017 and opened a case at Jeppe police station cas no 160/4/2017 on the 8th April 2017.</p> <p>On the 9th which was on Sunday someone named himself as warrant officer contacted me, he had all the details of the car and the case no which he didn't get them from me.</p> <p>He said he was a warrant officer and the car has been found in Mpumalanga and has been impounded to benoni(where recovered cars are stored), he said since this is going to be a process for me to get my car as they will use it for investigations, but he said he can make it easier for me to get the car as also cars are stripped by the pounding farm so it be better for me to have the car with me.</p> <p>Okay, he then said but the guys he's working with will need a thousand rand for this process, I told him I don't have that kind of cash, he asked me how much can I organise.<br />I said no I can organise R500, he said it's okay.</p> <p>He then said I must deposited the money at pep or spar. I went to spare and deposited the money (R500), I sent him the voucher number and the pin number.</p> <p>I contacted him advising him that I have deposited the money and I was on my way to benoni to fetch the car.</p> <p>He said it's okay and he is busy with the paper work.</p> <p>Got to benoni, contacted him telling him that I was in front of the benoni police station.</p> <p>He then said that he was not able to withdraw the money, he ask me to go and withdraw the money and buy him airtime for R245 × 2. I went to spare to withdraw the money and I bought the airtime he requested and gave the pins to him.</p> <p>He then said he was going to give me a call back in 15 minutes, I waited but no call. I tried to call him but no answer. I contacted the Jeppe police station to verify if the vehicle has been recovered and they say no it hasn't.</p> <p>I then went to the pounding area to check if there were any cars that came in that day, no cars came in.</p> <p>Normally if you are contacted by an officer is someone who has been allocated to investigate your case.</p> <p>And my case was suppose to be moved Brixton police station as Brixton is a police station near to where the incident happened. I later went to Jeppe police station to report this incident. The docet was still at Jeppe and I suppose the person who called himself as a warrant officer works at Jeppe police station.</p> <p>Number contacted me was ********** 987.</p> <p>Contacted Vodacom to confirm the airtime sent to this so called warrant office which number was it used on, they confirmed the last 5 digits which is 33987 which is the same as the last 5 digits of the warrant officer.</p> <p>Am in a crisis of a ****** vehicle and now am ****med by a police officer.</p> <p>Is this fair, lawfully.</p> <p>Where should we go for help if our police officer are failing us.</p> <p>Till today no one has contacted me for more info on the car.</p> <p>Looking forward for assistance.</p> <p>For more info, I can be contacted at ********** 411.</p> <p>Best regards,<br />Sandile Zulu</p>
