Incorrect Infomation

Good day<br> <br> I am a black female age 47 residing at Sebokeng, on the 12/04/2016 i went to open break in a case at Sebokeng Police Station next to Sebokeng Hospital, When we arrived we were assisted by one female constabel whom i forget her name and Constable Radebe, We were advised that we shouldn't open a case because we will not recover all our ****** goods but to catch the person who did this and than call the SAPS so that we can be accompanied by the Police to collect all ****** items were it was sold. On the 13/04/2016 the person was found and the police where called, Bongani (Suspect) informed us were he sell all items when the police arrived i showed them my house and Captain Mazibuko sad I should go open the case at SAPS but i explained to him what i was told, he then ask me if i did see the suspect doing that, i said no but the suspect told us were all items was and he even wanted to sell the light to my friend Thozi. Please help me understand as what should have happened in this regards.(
