Cas 6/7/21

Warrant officer Hoffman is in charge of my case. Brigadier John Lebok was contacted via cellphone and made 1 call to Station Commander Poppie (sorry if this spelling is incorrect, not sure about spelling) From 6/7/2021 I have been having issues with SAPS and People mentioned.

Case was opened *****, subpoena against Standard Bank, (Number on Subpoena 17/2021) Standard Bank failed to appear in court on due date. NO.1 SAPS did not follow their own rules of issuing a warrant of arrest against Standard Bank Manager Fredeline Jantjies. About a week after this date for court I enquired about the case. Warrant officer Hoffman just told me they are still waiting on standard bank. I enquired at Commander why they are still waiting On Standard bank as they are in breach of the court now, just keep on telling me they are waiting. Terrible that our own SAPS cannot follow up and do their work properly. NO.2 I had to initiate a Subpoena again. Through State Prosecutor Mentz and Humansdorp Court, cause SAPS Humansdorp and all involved are ***********. The new Subpoena was issues again and due Date was 04 November 2022.

Once again, I enquired at Warrant officer Hoffman what is going on, And he told me the info they received, which I don’t believe they received, working on Standard bank info Locally at Humansdorp and not From Standard Bank Head office. This info must now be verified, 6 months they told me. Now after my own investigation, I spoke to another investigator, in that same Office, that they are just lazy over there. They do what they want to do, when they want to do it.

Now from 25/08/2021, when the first subpoena was issued, I had to call every time to enquire of the status of the case, No one is doing their work, not a phone call, not a sms, not a whatsapp message just to inform me about anything.

Now please, where is my tax money going, if SAPS employees as per section 205 cannot fulfill their duties, get rid of them, I am tired if being a SA citizen and struggle even with our own Law enforcement. SAPS is not following their code of conduct, neither the law in South Africa. Is it now legal not showing up in court when a subpoena gets issued. I will throw this back in court when I get a subpoena, this just shows the flaws in our justice system. Is this perhaps a case of we don’t worry about the man on street, we will go only for big cases where we can get status.
