It is with great dissapointment that the law officers meant to fight crime and protect us are the very ones protecting *********. I was involved in an MVA where there were police officer assigned to the scene yet couldn't even do the basic job of completing AR properly and truthfully. The officers ignored all relevant evidence and witnesses that where there and wrote a statement on behalf of an unconscious driver who had witnesses in his car that where old enough to give statements. The officer went as far as writing wrong information of the driver that was in the wrong as he was a taxi driver believing they where intentionally biased towards the taxi association even when they could see from road markings as well as unroadworthiness of the taxi yet proceeded as if the victim that ultimately died in the hands of this man who drove retlessly while transporting passengers was in the wrong. Their failure to their job was even proved by road accident reconstruction officer who took liberty to ask witnesses as to what happened which provided solid proof that the law is clearly *******. I have made contact with the investigating officer who was not even on the scene on that day yet he told me my story isn't true the version he got from the taxi driver is true. Well I have 5 other witnesses from the taxi as well as the street market where speed limit is 60km/h as it a semi residential area, no overtaking nor uturn is allowed. The taxi driver came speeding from his lane onto oncoming traffic where he lost control of his vehicle and missed breaks instead accelerated. I'm appalled by the manner in which the SAPS in Mokopane handled the case that even today nothing has been done. Officers in blue just get paid to loaf around at the expense of our law abiding citizens life's and this needs to come to an end. Taxi drivers cannot have their way with the road and law officials grant them that authority costing us as civilians our lives. Correspondence has been made with the station commander dololo feedback since 28 July 2021 to date.
