Fire arm renewal

I had to renew my firearm licence. It expired on the 22 January 2020. I gave in all the necessary documentation on 8 October 2019. I received a sms from the police department on the same date that my competency certificate *** and my firearm renewal *** are receiving attention. I went to the police station several times now ang every time they say:" Wait for a sms." It is now 9 months later and I am still waiting. I cannot understand how is this possible. Please, can somebody assist me with this.
