Dissapointed officer at Sunnyside police station

It us very dissapointing&flabbergastung to learn that police officers of today do not have passion or rather even an understanding of how important is their job to citizens of the country , as they are our last hope when it comes to our safety. They stole my wallet at my work place .I then opened a case at Sunnyside police on the 15th June 2024 i got a case number sane day followed by name of investigating officers name. The female officer never bothered to contact me for weeks .till I had to go back and look for her as I needed to update her concerning the developments which will lead her to get to the truth.she was no where to be found till such time she decided to come.the officer by surname cst Masanabo never took my case seriously regardless of how to tried to lead her. Worse Part after pushing her to do the job sh ended up interviewing the suspects over the phone. I mean seriously?? My work a d the police is about 5km away from each other the case could hv been dealt with fair a d square in a week .but it took the whole months yet not even investigated. I then called Station commander to lay a complain as I believe this kind of conduct in handling cases cannot to promoted by management. Station commander referred me to the colonel as a matter of observing protocol. I called the Lt colonel Motau. Make a. Appointment went explain my complain to her. She claim to understand a d indicated the descripencies made by Masanabo , she further promise to speak with the constable and instruct her to correct and give me a call to apologise and engage on how to vorrect thus . To my surprise 10 minutes after I left the station I received a message of ,"your case is closed " this us shocking extremely shocking I must say.no respect of clients it's business as usual "promoting crime indirectly so" iam still asking myself if this is a matter of Ego or what ? Proving who is who? Cause I have all the right to lay a complain if I feel justice was not done with my case , we really on police officers for safety and justice but it's seems people are just pushing tickets for salaries at Sunnyside police. We are nit safe in SA with these kind of police offices .we are on our own as citizens and these are some of the reason sometimes others feel the need to take the law into their own. Hands. It is my prayer that day we start taking our own laws seriously a d every1 develop passion to do their job in excellence and dedication .fulfilling the oath taken and not do the job as a cosmetic excersise. To fulfill and when we complain u prove to us who is in charge
