DETERIORATION OF OUR SAPS

Yesterday I had went to the Mayville Police Station (Westridge) and was horrified with the service I received or should I say did not receive. I was there from 4.10pm for an affidavit for my daughter. There were 4 officers who paid no attention to me, they never even bothered to ask me why I was there. After standing in front of them for 10 minutes, I was then told to have a seat and someone will assist me. So I did just that and still no-one asked what help did I need. However they took the time to read whatever was put up on the wall, have a hearty conversation amongst themselves as well as walk around and have a glass of water as though I was invisible. I eventually walked out and made a statement that they are very useless.<br> Is this what our Policing Services have become? They get paid out of our taxes and it is their job to help the community, but clearly I as a community member did not receive any help. It's polices like these that give the rest a bad name.<br> This service from Mayville Police Station was pathetic and hope that things will change fro the sake of the community, but I am sure it won't, not even by a long shot.
