Delayed Resignition Claim and Poor Service

My husband resigned this year. Resignition was effective 12 May 2021. His money has not been payed out, it's almost 6 months now. When we call GEPF we are told that the file is not there yet. He was working at Kidd's Beach Police Station, his name is Bubele Felele and his SAPS employee Persal number is ***5. Pension number ***4. Main problem is that policies has lapsed, we can't pay our sons school fees and hostel, we are taking money from loan sharks to survive but now people want their money back now. As I'm writing this message we literally we don't have food at home and we tired of asking food from neighbours and relatives now. Reason for my husband to resign was that he was going to further his studies, he is not coping now and he is missing some classes because he doesn't have money for transport. We lost our car during this process, we were only left with 1 year to finish paying it. PLEASE HELP. SAPS FAILED US
