Community victimization

On Saturday morning we were awoken to a break in, in my boyfriend's car...

This post is dedicated to #KleinvleiPoliceStation. Upon taking it upon ourselves to go after the perpetrator and calling them to come out to the scene around 02h45 that same morning, to date they have still not arrived nor patrolled in the area. We then went to the station ourselves and upon arriving there, they did not bother taking the evidence of the actual break in and told me that they never received the call out, thus leaving us to leave the car outside and not being able to move it for hours. Today he received a call from dectective SERG JR VAN WYK not asking him anything about his case but rather if his gone back home, my boyfriend then told him that he is still in Eersteriver and this SERG told him that he needed a permit that indicates he is staying in the area during lockdown. I urge #SouthAfricanPoliceServices to please investigate what is happening at this station, their LACK of respect, LACK of understanding, LACK of absolutely everything. They are failing their community and expect the community to respect them. They are also arresting people in the community and allowing them to freely jump out of their vans uncuffed. I understand that they are overwhelmed during this time, but they get away with soooo much just because they wear a government uniform, drive government vehicles and wear a badge. FYI we do have footage of the break in yet we were told that we should buy a flash drive and take it back to the station because they can't receive emails.
