Child abuse cases are ignored at Cato manor Police Station

I am absolutely not happy with Cato manor police station. They r so careless with the cases that involve the abuse of children and woman. My partner went there to report a case of assault where a neighbor assaulted my 13 yr old daughter after school and told her that even If she can come with her father he will hit them both. When he arrived at the police station they told him it not a serious case, after that they told them to go to the hospital for some report he went there and do everything since today the detectives are quite, it been 3 weeks now. The neighbor is busy bragging to the friends that he will never be arrested. So my question as a citizen what more should this neighbor do to my daughter so that it can be taken serious. So this means that they waiting that she must be ****d or ******ed so that it can be serious? As a South African citizen are we safe under the police officers of Cato Manor ? Are our kids safe? Coz it been 3 weeks now nothing is happening.
