Captain Teffo Bad Customer Service

Greetings

I hereby table a complaint against Captain Teffo, for my experience at the polokwane police station at no 38 Schoeman street, corner Schoeman and Bodensyein streets. His service to me was so bad, and I want consequence management, which must include disciplinary measures against him. I also want an apology for his bad service to me.

On Tuesday 05 May 2020 I got involved in a car accident at Ga Sekgopo. We called the police, who interviewed us. When done, they gave us the a/r number 02/05/2020. They said, if I want the actual report, since I asked, it will be availed. Yesterday I called the Modjafjiskloof police station to request the report for my insurance claim purposes. They told me to go to my nearest police station, make a payment then send them receipt, then they'll mail it to me. They sent me invoice with the reference number.

Today I went to polokwane police to make payment as I was told. Captain Teffo was part of people who were assisting us. When it was my turn to be assisted, I told captain Teffo that I was there to make payment for me to retrieve my AR report from modjafjiskloof police station. He said they don't do it there I must go to modjafjiskloof. I indicated to him that I was told by SAPS officials to come to my nearest police station to make payment. He was rood to me, and he wanted just to dismiss me. Unfortunately I wasn't just gonna leave. He said I must go to modjafjiskloof to get my statement.

Irritated and humiliated as I was, I called customer service on ***, and explained the disservice I got from captain Teffo. I was advised to engage the station commander.

Captain Teffo can't harras clients and talk roodly to us. His behavior doesn't belong anywhere in the public service, and must stop. I'm formally writing this, with the hope that Saps will take action, and give me feedback. I'm also expecting an apology from him. I left the station angry and disappointed.
