Bad police service in Sannieshof

I called Sannieshof police station at 16:25 on the8/5/2021 just after I was called by my niece saying my little brother is busy beating her up. I spoke to a lady and she said she will ask the police to go take care of the matter, at 20:15 pm same day my niece reported that no policemen have been there. I called and a gentleman answer saying they are short-staffed, I asked why couldn’t the station commander or whoever is in charge not make sure they have enough manpower since it’s monthend? He then said it’s up to the community to complain about that and not employees. My concern is we are all screaming “no to GBV” but my niece who is about 16yrs reports that my brother who is about 32yrs is beating up and he did the same thing last week Saturday by beating my mother, the police went to talk to him. So he could have easily injured my niece and the police wouldn’t have showed up still because they short-staffed. If ****** came up what then!!?? Our government is so Reactive and expect to be praised for doing their job this is so annoying!! How hard is it to do what one is getting paid for!!?? Obviously Gender Based Violence is the least of Sannieshof Police Station’s worry!!
