ARROGANCE AT THE BROOKLYN POLICE STATION - CONSTABLE REKGONTSE

Today, for the first time in my whole life got to experience an arrogant and ******** officer at the Brooklyn police station. A certain Constable Rekgontse refused vehemently to sign myself disclosure as commissioner of oaths. In the form, I am required to sign in front of a commissioner (self-disclosure) for submission to my supervisors who would ordinarily sign after the commissioner of oath.

Her reasoning and logic is that the whole organisation of about 50 employees should come down (or at least myself and my supervisors) to the Brooklyn police station then she would sigh as they would all sign in her presence. My explanation is that I am the one disclosing in front of the commissioner not my supervisors hence I am the one coming to disclose and request a commissioner of oath.

Also, logic dictates that not all organisations should close and come doesn't to SAPS for a commissioner of oath in order to SELF disclose. The constable further said "bye Abuti" whilst I was trying to explain further or to request the station commander. I found it very disrespectful and as a patriot and disciplined citizen who had never experience such arrogance from the police decided to keep the decorum of the station intact and chose not to raise my voice or cause a scene.

I deman an apology from her personally and also request that She be taken to soft skills causes and how to deal/escalate an issue if She does not understand the subject matter. Most of the employees at my work have their forms signed at the very same station with no challenges but I feel that for whatever reason She targeted me or maybe it was my explaining that bruised her ego. I personally feel that we should not have such officers on the front line if they have no people skills or knowledge about the services provided by SAPS.
