appalling justice system failing the women of our country !

My younger sister was stabbed on the head by a jealous boyfriend..( now ex). Subsequent to that had a case of assault opened at the Lingelethu Police station in Khayelitsha Cape Town, and the case was assigned to a Sergant Oh Bennet. The arrest was made, and with the current statistics of women abuse in our country and society one would think that such cases are handled in a more robust and stricter manner. To our surprise, 1 week later post the case had been opened we bump into the very same man that had stabbed my sister....now walking scot free. There had been no communication of an update or status of the case opened. This is ridiculous and appalling. you wonder why women are being ****ed daily ??? well its because of such a nonsensical and disgusting justice system. I want an explanation as to the status of this case , Nwabi **********
