I am really disappointed with the service I got from Akasia police yesterday. I call the emergency number seeking help even now the police have not arrived so I don't know that you choose where you want to go or you choose who you want to help. I'm still laying in bed as my man was beating me yesterday and I am pregnant, I spoke to constantable Makoloane/ or Makulwane on this number *** he told me he was busy with another case in the meantime I should go to the hospital to check if the baby is ok, which I did I went to Pretoria west hospital they checked me and the baby is fine is just that I'm the one feeling pains. I called him to tell him that I'm back he said he is still busy asked for my Man's contact number said he called him and my man was already at Brakpan where he works. Then when I called Constable he said he will come in the morning so that we can open a case.

I don't know what to do, because we have police to assist us but at the end of the day their are the one failing us, does this mean that the police are promoting women abuse?
