Sony Z3 is a problem phone

After purchasing the Sony z3 on the basis that it was water proof i found myself with a broken unit by merely trying out what the phone says it does, i find this to be false advertising. After contacting Sony for help they referred me to a 3rd party to repair my phone at my cost the phone report came back as uneconomical to repair. All i did was attempt to take a picture under water on the step of a pool so it wasn't even submerged very deep. My phone was less than 2 months old and i find this to be ********* practice. I sincerely hope this matter can be sorted out.
