SONY PS4 SERVICE

I am very disappointed with the service I received from Sony with regards to my PS4. I have been a Sony PS fan from the time i had my PS2 and have purchased the PS3 and now recently the PS4 1TB unit. I received the machine as a gift from my parents who purchased the machine in Vietnam. From the day i received it the machine would start up and allow me to play for 30mins then shuts down. The machine is still under warranty. I have tried updating the system but nothing works. I tried taking the machine to Partserv who is the Sony dealer to swap out the machine. I was told they cannot swap out the machine even at my cost of R2500 as RSA is PAL and the machines that come from Vietnam at NTSC. I find this ridiculous as Sony is an international company and should provide service to customers around the world without any issues of where the machine was purchased. I am now sitting with a machine that I cannot use and was told to go and buy a new machine.

If this is the support that SONY provides I might as well move to the Xbox.
