FALSE ADVERTISING

I had just gotten my new Sony Z3 \waterproof"phone. So obviously I wanted to test it with my friends. I used normal tap water in a jug no more than 30cm deep. Of course I made sure that all of the ports were closed as I was very protective over this expensive piece of equipment. 5 seconds after being submerged the screen shorted out and I was phoneless. I took it In to Autopage (my service provider) the phone has been booked in for almost 10 weeks (longer tha I've had the phone for) I was just told that the phone is \""Damaged beyond economical repair\"" ...
