Worst Service ever!!!!!

On the 11th of August 2020 I took my sons bike to Solomon Cycles for repairs. I didn’t mind the chuckles behind my back by the staff as I pushed the bike in because the intension was not to win a beauty contest but to get the bike fixed. The “manager” at the repairs station assessed the bike and rattled off what had to be fixed. I agreed to the written quote and was told to collect the bike on Saturday, 15 August 2020.

I arrived at Solomon’s on Saturday and after a protracted search for my bike they eventually came back to me with feedback. They apparently couldn’t conclude the repairs because they were still awaiting the delivery of a rear derailer. I was asked to come back on Monday the 17th.

Monday morning I received a call from Solomon Cycle with an update on the bike. This time however I was told that the written quote was no longer applicable because the repairs would now be 3 times more.

I went through to Solomon Cycles later that morning to collect my bicycle which happened to be in even worse condition relative to its initial condition. This was not only a terrible service experience but a dehumanizing experience.
