28 October 2020, 12:48 Refund I have made a layby at Solo walking fashion at Northgate mall Telephone number 011 ********** ) date October 2020 I went to the shop on the 28 October to retrieve my laybye and pay it in full once the payment was done I was informed that they did not have my size and did not have my size in the shoes as I was previously adviced so I then said to cancel laybye because I do not need goods laybyed anymore and since they could not deliver on their word I was told the lady who assisted me initially with the laybye nolonger worked for them after I insisted that they call they manager I was surprised to learn that they did not have a Manger at all and rely on numbers of an operations manager with a rude temper to help operate the business who is never answering his phone

The cashier that assisted me informed me that she won’t be able to give me cash; I can only receive a voucher to buy in future. I informed her that there is nothing I will need from the shop I need my cash, as stated on their receipt you will be receive 100% Credit note.

Cashier refused and said I must call head Office on 012 ********** .

Today on the 02/November /2020 @ 12h00 I called head office I did not get help I was told I needed to speak to the area manager of Northgate. I was given the number to call her on I called her also refused and said I must go back to the shop and get a voucher.

I persisted to call and was handed over to the operation manager who said it was their convenience to have held the shoes for me in the first place which I fail to understand why anyone would reason in this manner because initially that is the purpose of a laybye

I called Solo Head office again on 012 ********** I spoke to Annah she said she will inform the owners to call me.

I don’t think it’s a fair practice they are now forcing you to buy in their store even if you are no longer needing goods laybyed.
