Pathetic Customer Care

<p>I bought a lovely pair of Plum heels at Auckland Park Solo last week. </p> <p> </p> <p>On my second time of wear today while at work, the heel seemed like it was tearing off. The glue was not holding the shoe anymore. This did not happen while walking or running or even having tripped. I was seated on my office chair and just felt a snap</p> <p> </p> <p>i then decided to walk back and take the shoes back. I had to ask a colleague for a pair to wear in the enterim while I go sort out this issue. </p> <p> </p> <p>When I got there, the ladies recognized me from last week and the issue of me not having a slip wasn't questioned. I then explained my problem and the lady wasn't surprised at all at this snapped shoe and immediately mentioned that this has happened a lot of times before. She added to mention that there was another lady that had the same issue and the shoe was taken to be fixed by a street shoe repairer around the corner and I should have it by the end of the day. Well I wasn't too happy about this of course, but I needed a shoe, and immediately so I was still calm although unimppressed. The lady went to the back to speak to the manager and came back to tell me that an area manager needed to confirm this first, as per the manager. I asked to speak to this manager at the back, the assistant disappeared again to say she says she's on lunch. So I asked what the next step is and she just couldn't give me a response. I was asked to leave my pair of shoes as they will be taken for repairs. </p> <p> </p> <p>Now because my frustrations were strating to show, I was advised that as per the policy, shoes that have been worn dont qualify for a refund or repair. How pathetic would that service be. So I sit here in my office seat with shoes from a friend, about to walk into a meeting, having left my shoes to be fixed by a street vendor. These shoes were bought at a credible shoe store and I'm treated like i bought them at a back street somewhere.</p> <p> </p> <p>All I require are new shoes seeing that I bought them only a week ago. That's all </p>
