Bad Service and Poor Quality

Good day.

I would like to lodge a customer complaint.

On the 30th of August 2025 I purchased a wooden stable kitchen door from Cashbuild Mamelodi.

When the door was installed the handyman showed some defects which were clearly from the factory / manufacturer (Solid Doors)

The door was painted with a wood sealer three coats after instalation.

I notified the store who told Solid Doors about the issue. A representative of Solid Doors (Quinton) was dispatched and after his inspection he report that the door had been rain damaged due too staying too long without vanish.

1. That time it had only been about a week since purchase. 2. installation there had not been rain in the area. 3. The door was covered with wood sealer after installation. 4. The report was sent to the store and only after I followed up after a week I was told about it. 5. This is bad service and frustrating from both Cashbuild and Solid Doors. There report was false and misleading and the store is dragging its feet to assist. I have attached photos as evidence.
