Inferior product, poor service

Installation, no problem - I assume it's because they made money.

Within a few months the one element caused my power to trip. Days later with little hot water it was replaced, I was asked to then pay a R500 callout fee, which I refused to pay, and thank goodness! Within the next 2months, the other element had the same issue and 3 days later it was "fixed" only for me to find that in the repair there was damage to a seal which then caused the geyser to leak...another few days with no hot water and an eventual repair.

I'm now 16 months in to having these geysers, and guess what...my powers tripping, and they're leaking! Reported on thursday by email, followed up on Friday. No answer to phone calls on Monday and on Tuesday I'm told they'll send me their suppliers detail, I need to arrange with them directly because the guarantee is now over. Seems convenient!

Absolutely appaulling to see a product which is more then a few thousand rand failing so often for the same reason, and then not getting proper service from my supplier and having to chase and beg to have it resolved, which it still isn't. I'll now do the grunt work myself and contact your supplier to get what you sold me fixed, and hopefully for the last time.

Do not use Solar Guru if you actually need hot water.
