Bad after sales service

I contracted Solar Guru for a solar installation, paid them in full and on time, and expected all compliance documents to be provided for my municipality submission. Instead, they sent me an uncertified copy of the installer’s ID and a plumbing qualification instead of the required trade certificate. The municipality has rejected these documents, as only a valid trade certificate from a qualified installer is acceptable. Despite raising this with Solar Guru, they insist these are the documents they “always” give their clients — which is simply not true and not compliant. As a contractor in the construction business, I know what a trade certificate looks like, and I have submitted many before without issue. Their refusal to provide the correct paperwork has delayed my project and puts me at risk with municipal compliance. I cannot recommend Solar Guru to anyone needing legitimate, compliant solar installations. Their handling of this matter has been unprofessional and unacceptable.
