Never buy from Solar Energy Zone

Good day I want to lodge a complaint against Solar Energy Zone,I have ordered 12 x Canadian Solar 360W Poly Panels for the amount of R23 940.00 on internet from Solar Energy Zone. On the15 July 2021, ***. I got a confirmation e mail from Lucas Botha at 09H05 to say order should be dispatch on Monday 16th July 2021. They send me a mail at 09H06 to say I need to pay R700 for delivery on 16th July. I communicated with Lucas at 13H00 to say I will collect the panels on Monday and he need to send me the collection address. Lucas mailed me at 13H34 to say I can collect Monday 19th July. I have arrived at the premises at 11H11 and could not find the place as indicated (511 Jan Smuts Ave, Ferndale, Randburg). I phoned Lucas and they did not answer the phone. When I got home I told my husband that I cannot get held of them and he phoned them with also no replies. At 12H45 my husband got held of Lucas and he said they will deliver the panels, but we do not believe this is legit. I have paid the R700 for delivery and they have promised to deliver on 20th July between 11H00 and 16H00. I have phoned my brother to check on their registration number *** he said this company does not exist and they have no vat number. I phoned Discovery Bank on the 19 July 2021 at 16H19 and opened a ***** case number ***.On the 20 July Solar Energy Zone delivered 12 Solar panels at 16H10, but the following happened: Dear Lucas / Nicolas The panels were delivered today but not what we have ordered: We have ordered Canadian Solar 360W Poly Kumax Half-Cell 35mm Frame 5 BusBar panels to fit our roof: 200 x 99.2 x 3.5Cm 47.0 Voc You have sent us the following: In the first place it is not Canadian Solar Panels. The Bar code doesn’t exist, No name brand on back of panels. There is no spec date label on Panel the physical size differ ( 176 x 105 x 4.0 Cm) Voc voltage not even 38 V . My husband phone twice today nobody got back to him. I also phoned with no replay. I suggest that you pay the money back and then come and pick your Chinese panels up. Those panels cost 21000 Rand from suppliers and they are Canadian maybe not 360w but 345w. The supplier says he cannot give a refund. (If you look on Canadian solar specifications there is no 345W panels, only 355W, 360W, 365W, 370W, 375W panels) You are acting like you were ****med as if your money was taken from you whilst that's not the case and you know it. Profit made from your payment was R2940. Which is peanuts and now you threatened to open a case. Go ahead but when you are ready to talk of a way forward in a proper manner please come again and talk. Thanks. Dear Lucas, We will take it further. This is not what is sated on your web site on returns policy. We did not received what we have ordered, those panels is too big for our roof we would not even fit 8 on our roof. Why did you not get back to us and told us you have not what we have ordered. That is why we have ordered the specific brand and size, your website must say if you have not stock and take our money and then say the supplier will not take them back, this is not on we will take this future. Just give us our money back Dear Lucas, This is your return of Policy on your web, this is if you want to change your mind, we have not even got the correct panels we have ordered. You give me no option to take it future if you do not pay the money back. 3. Returns 3.1 Return Due To Change Of Mind Solar Energy Zone will happily accept returns due to a change of mind as long as a request to return is received by us within 30 days of receipt of item and are returned to us in original packaging, unused and in resalable condition. Return shipping will be paid at the customer’s expense and will be required to arrange their own shipping. Once returns are received and accepted, refunds will be processed to store credit for a future purchase. We will notify you once this has been completed through email. (Solar Energy Zone) will refund the value of the goods returned but will NOT refund the value of any shipping paid. 3.2 Warranty Returns Solar Energy Zone will happily honor any valid warranty claims, provided a claim is submitted within 90 days of receipt of items. Customers will be required to pre-pay the return shipping, however, we will reimburse you upon successful warranty claim. Upon return receipt of items for a warranty claim, you can expect Solar Zone RSA to process your warranty claim within 7 days. Once the warranty claim is confirmed, you will receive the choice of: (a) refund to your payment method (b) a refund in-store credit (c) a replacement item sent to you (if stock is available)

If I can find a buyer for those panels I can give you the money but as for now I do not have the funds and all I can pay you is the 2940 and you can deal with the supplier where I bought the batteries from I make honest business. Some would have ripe you off and ****** your money but I didn't and I worked hard to get your money's worth. If you want R21,000 you can deal with the supplier because I tried to talk to him but he refused to give me a refund. Dear Lucas, You give no choice to take this future, you will hear from my lawyer soon.

I don't have the money at hand I told you, I will try sell those panels to make your money back but you don't want so what must I do. I can pay back no problem but I need to sell the 12 you have so that you can have your money. I meant panels.

No worries just give me until Friday or Saturday I will look for clients and sell them.
